Brandon, a Danish-American born in Germany, spent the first part of his youth in Europe but returned to graduate High School in Maryland, a place he considers home.He has always understood the power of both leading and following in order to grow and develop.The Varsity Captain navigated through a devastating injury not only to return to his sport, but to also exceed expectations, notably recognized by the Baltimore Sun Newspaper. Brandon, an honor athlete landed the Districts’ “Player of the Year Award, but also simultaneously receiving the “Standout Achievement Award in Art”. This path lead to his acceptance of a full scholarship at Erskine Presbyterian College for basketball(NCAA II) where he completed his Art & Design B. S.
Brandon’s desire to excel and define his path intensified when he was selected to play in the Danish Basketball League while also being accepted into further education at Aalborg University(Interaction Design). Footwear is and will always be his true passion but understanding the science of design, marketing strategies, and functionality of a product is something he has found to be invaluable.Ex-Jordan Brand Designer and Pensole Academy founder Dwayne Edwards selected Brandon to attend his professional footwear master class in Portland, which was instantly a game changing experience following a lifetime of athletics. He envisions designing with like-minded individuals as a dream environment. Brandon has constantly been involved in projects for international brands and organizations such as Timberland, Under Armour & Puma.
Design for Brandon is not an idea, it’s like air, a strong desire he seeks to fulfill by creating and re-defining culture with his ideas.
